oprofile-gui software package provides system-wide profiler for Linux systems (GUI components), you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install oprofile-gui
oprofile-gui is installed in your system.
Make ensure the oprofile-gui package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep oprofile-gui *
You will get with oprofile-gui package name, version, architecture and description in a table
